Interactive, joy-filled folk music programs designed specially for young audiences.
Whether we are singing under the trees or gathering on a library rug, these programs are highly engaging and rooted in community. I regularly bring music to:
Nature Centers & Parks: Integrating songs about the outdoors, wildlife, and the seasons.
Small Farms & Community Gardens: Connecting kids to the land and locally grown food (Catch me doing nature programs at Coastal Roots Farm soon!)
Schools & Libraries: Providing structured, educational, and wildly fun group sing-alongs.
Community Centers & Places of Worship: Creating warm spaces for families to gather and sing!
Why Cottonwood Chorus?
I bring more to the circle than my guitar. With a Master’s in Natural Resources and Environment and a background in public health, I intentionally design my programs to use the power of music to offer memorable experiences that strengthen ecological literacy, spark a sense of wonder and cultivate the instinct to care for the land and care for people. As an educator, I am completely at home managing energetic classrooms and library groups, ensuring a fun, safe, and structured environment for everyone.
